Expect wakes from dawn to dusk from boaters both in the channel or navigating around. Nice view of the sunset.

The anchorage was extremely packed, but everyone seemed to be considerate of others boats. We had no problem anchoring. A lot of traffic; everything from parasail boats to excursion schooners to tikis to cruise ships. A lot of apparently derelict boats. A short dinghy ride to Key West & all of it's fun. All-in-all, we like it & will stay until we have to move because of wind or waves.

Nothing luxurious but location is perfect! Easy ride to dingy dock for $8 a day with everything pretty much in walking distance.

Dinghy dock VERY crowded. Power boats roar past starting at dawn. Very poor cell reception. Still, once you get ashore everything is right there.

The sunshine was glorious but the relentless wind,10 to 20 knots, made it too chilly and made for a bumpy visit to Key West. Other boaters poor etiquette, not minding their wake, also made for a very bumpy visit. And there was a tremendous amount of traffic. The dinghy ride into Key West Bight, again due to the relentless wind, was wet and the dock was very crowded. We have a Rocna anchor and we never lose holding... but we did here. Many boats seem to have trouble with holding.
