Draft: 3.5'Overall Rating:5Holding:5Wind Protection:3Current Flow:5Wake Protection:5Scenic Beauty:5Shore Access:5Gorgeous great snorkeling, beautiful sunrises, sunsets and Star gazing.Good holding, marked channel we draft 3.5 feet but had a boat next to us that drafted 6 without any issues. Fort Jefferson is a must see you can join the Ferry tour guide they were very nice and informative about the history of the fort.

Need to register in with National park upon arrival, but free anchorage. Fort Jefferson access a small fee if you dont have National Park pass. Lots of loggerhead turtles!!

Park staff is very friendly and informative. Touring Fort Jefferson is a must. There is a very large flock of Magnificent Frigate Birds that nest on a small island next to Fort Jefferson - the only nesting site in the US. A special place in decent weather.
