Absolutely loved area and protection. Muddy sandy bottom. Good holding during 20mph winds. Close city dinghy dock at Winn Dixie for provisioning. Called marina as well for permission to walk dog from their dinghy dock as well. No wake zone.

We anchored here and rafted up with our buddy boat. We were able to dinghy to the dinghy dock and shop, eat and walk the dog easily. There is a Winn Dixie within walking distance and a place close by it to dinghy to also. The dock master could not have been any nicer.

Overall a great anchorage but you have to anchor on North end. South end does not hold it's a deep mud bottom and not enough room to anchor properly. A slight wind storm can through and pushed us up to persons dock in the night. North end held much better next night. Didn't move.

Good holding, some current moving the boat around, was almost no wind but felt good. Not very busy, marina near by is a social spot, quiet, close to a lot of shops and restaurants in a fancy area of Marco. Stayed for one night and was beautiful. We will come again!

This is a very protected anchorage in a nice neighborhood next to a high end marina. There are dinghy docks at the marina that may be used. Do not lock your dinghy. It is safe (many cameras and security) and they will cut your lock if you use one. There are several nice casual restaurants and stores. You can easily walk to downtown from here. One of the restaurants provides free WiFi with email registration. There is a dinghy dock for the grocery store which is past the marina and under the bridge. Beautiful grocery. Awesome place to reprovision. This is an easy place to be and extremely quiet. Cell service is excellent. Want to live in a neighborhood for a few days again. Well here’s your chance.

There were several navigation hazards in the channel after hurricane Irma. When we arrived the hazards had been removed and they were working on the shoaling at the entrance. Saying that, there are boats in the marina using the same channel up to 60' . Just follow channel markers closely, stay nearer docking side of channel for more depth.. Beautiful anchorage. 2/21/18

This is an excellent anchorage protected from the wind on all sides from wind & wave. It is in a residential neighborhood. Bottom is mud and provides excellent holding. Average depth is 10-15 feet. Shopping: At the south end of the bay there is a low bridge accessible only by power boat or dink. Once under this bridge, a quick turn to the left will take to a major food & wine store with a 'dink dock' (Winn-Dixie) for provisioning & supplies.
