Beautiful place for day visit. Very busy on with local traffic on weekends. Not easy to get to shore so provision prior to arrival.

Nice anchorage, decent holding ground. Good protection from West and North-west winds. Open to East and South-east winds. Great beach for swimming during the warmer months. This is an official rookery, so pets are discouraged during mating and nesting season, but still some people will have their pets on the beach. Pets are allowed on the water's edge as long as they do not interfere with nesting birds. It is a favorite hang-out for the local boating community.
