While the charted depths for this anchorage look like five feet we saw two smaller sailboats on bottom and heeled over at low tide. There is deeper water just off the western shore that goes from the bridge through the anchorage and joins back with the channel south of Green 9 but it is used by many of the local boats as a thru channel. There is somewhat deeper water between Green 17 and Green 19 but care must be taken to be out of the channel. There is a strong current that runs through the anchorage and you will swing with the tide. Not recommended for larger deeper draft boats. Shore access at C-Quarters and a grocery and hardware store within easy walking distance.
