High, wooded hills make this and nearby Valentine Creek a real hurricane hole. Pleasant neighborhood anchorage with nice houses and woods. Sandy beach on the point between Valentine and Plum allows dog walking, but looks neighborhood private, so probably no shore walking access.

Plum is much less crowded, the shores are high and wooded, and the houses are not crowded together. An excellent hurricane hole. The large beach belongs to the private community of Arden on the Severn.
