Excellent stop. Other reviews stated they had limited hours. They must have changed their hours since then. When we were there they were open until 6 or 7pm. When we arrived it was extremely windy. Dock hands were very helpful catching our lines and getting us tied up. Beautiful docks with security gates, newer large clean bathrooms with showers. Nice laundry. Beautiful water front near by. The museum is amazing. Walking distance to restaurants, etc. I don't know what else you could ask for.

Anchorage Review for Scherer and Bulls Islands

Excellent anchorage. Good shore access to take the dog to at the boat launch, also close to the courtesy dock to go into town. Good cell service. The night we were there, there was no wind and almost no current.

We were on a long boat trip, when we hit some debris and did some prop damage. After calling multiple marinas that couldn't help us out, I got a hold of Wharf Harbor. These guys went out of there way to get us hauled out, get the props fixed and get us back on our way in only 2 days! While we were waiting they were always checking with us to see if we needed anything. They let us use the marina vehicle to go get groceries. They charged us a fair price. Couldn't have asked for better service!

Great little marina! Well maintained. Bob the owner couldn't have been more accommodating! Nice covered outdoor bar area! All of the locals were super friendly!
