We stopped here in mid January 2023 on our way south to wait out some high winds. Our stay lasted a bit longer when we discovered an engine leak. Coinjock Marina hooked us up with Sound Decisions Marine Repair to help solve our problem.

Our stay was fantastic. Both the Coinjock and Marine Repair staff were very polite and helpful during our stay. The great food at their restaurant was an added bonus to our stay.

Staff were very nice and facilities just what we needed in early January 2023. They allowed us to use their courtesy car which made our run to the grocery and HW store super easy.

We enjoyed an excellent stay here in early January 2023. We draw just about 3 1/2' and had no problem approaching the docks at low tide.

Anchored near western shore, just south of the cable area, with our 36' KK Manatee in early January 2023. We did not have any issues with wakes from the shipping channel and had a very restful night. Current is swift but holding was great in thick mud.

Very convenient landing before transiting the canal with favorable currents.

We anchored here for a few nights in early September aboard our 36' Kadey Krogen. It is very scenic with great holding in thick mud. The farmers market is a short walk up the hill and operates all year on Saturday morning.

Great all around anchorage if you do not need any shore services. Nice trails all over the island, just be mindful to check for ticks.
