Another wall to stop at. Not as high as Ft. Edward. Bathrooms, cleanest so far. Shore power. Stop at the End Zone Tavern and Grill for dinner. Dunkin' Donuts and MCd's for breakfast.

We stopped here twice; once going south to NYC and also on the way back home. Camp ground atmosphere. Clean showers and bath. There is food during business hours, as well as gas. Very helpful people. At the second light house going south. There are other restaurants on the river as well.

On the north side of the river. Stayed here overnight. A marina and RV park . Surf City (on site restaurant) food was fair but refreshing to have. Bath and showere are clean. Nice people to deal with and a great view of NYC skyline from NJ. Caution, the harbor waters are rough and busy. Went on to see the Statue of Liberty from here.

I think this is where I ran out of gas. The 2 attendants went out of their way to help me get to the gas dock. It looks like a park with a marina from the water.

I needed repairs but there was only a part time mechanic. Watch out for low tide when docking.

As mentioned, just a boat yard. But, I had a need for an alternator and "JOE" in the ship store helped me out on the phone. So I stopped and they had the part I needed. They let me change it myself and the price was right. They also have gas.

A small marina with gas just north of Lock C1. A good stopping point.

Off the Hudson River after Lock 7 going south. Just a wall for docking with power and rest rooms. The Anvil Restaurant in town has good food for dinner and drinks. The old Fort Diner for breakfast. A big meal; eggs potatoes, toast, bacon, coffee $6. Nice town.

A must stop if you need gas before entering or exiting the Champlain Canal. There is some food available and a bar. Nice people.
