Very nice marina and excellent attention from staff. They have a very large indoor storage facility, climate controlled and reasonable rates.

Very nice marina and staff. Fuel prices tend to be high but that is due to their more remote location. Good restaurant onsite.

I might add, there are a number of very good restaurants nearby. Mango Reef serves the absolute BEST tuna carpaccio that I've had anywhere in the world.

Marina Review for Blue Haven Resort and Marina (IGY)

This is a mixed review. The marine itself had severe hurricane damage and has NOT been repaired. Outer dock is isolated with no service (power and water) and you have to take your dinghy in for shore access. The dock were you tie up your dinghy is rife with exposed bolts and metal shards so you have to be careful how you tie up. But, outer dock is only $1.00/' per day. On the plus side, there are two sister properties that you can use in addition to the Blue Haven Resort, the Beach House which is adults only and the Alexandra Resort. Blue Haven has a shuttle service to these properties. Really hope they are able to repair the docks but it doesn't look like there is any progress on that

Nice marina and facilities, great restaurant. Docking can be hectic as it is a very, very busy marina. Staff very accommodating, would stay again.

The marina has a number of moorings with a short dinghy ride to their dock. Roosevelt Nixon is extremely helpful and they also have a small restaurant (we didn't get a chance to try it). Island is charming, visited the school house during recess and got to chat with the teacher and students. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent marina, well protected and easy approach. Can use restaurant (Palapa) at Grand Isle resort and even their pool. Restaurant very good with the "best" $6.00 side salad (very fresh). Staff very helpful at Marina and prices reasonable. The have a "no frills" fee (no power) for $1.00/ft. Nice boaters lounge, TV, pool table, coffee. Free laundry! Would definitely go back.

Very nice marine and staff.
You have to witness the fisherman cleaning fish at the end of the day on the dock. Sharks galore but also very scary. When we docked a piece of paper from a neighboring boat flew into the water and it was instantly snapped up by a six foot shark; and these aren't nurse sharks. Restaurant bar looked good but we actually didn't try it. Garbage disposal free.
They seem to cater to sport fishing boats and can be hard to get a slip. We would definitely stay again if a slip were availableView location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

While in a great location the marine itself needs some updating. Older docks and somewhat indifferent staff, although the fellow who assisted us docking did a good job. Supposed to have laundry facilities but washer is out of service. The surrounding restaurants are good! Fixed docks here and you have to lasso the bow pilings as you back into a slip. Only one rest room available.
