Echo previous accolades. Easy access from the Western shores of the Bay. Well marked fairway. Simple marina away from towns, lights and noise. Loudest sound around is geese. Captain Billy was very helpful on arrival and the courtesy car allows easy access to any amenities you need that are not right here. We came here from Norfolk (on the Great Loop) to get out of the weather. This is a great hurricane hole! We provisioned and did laundry in town and slept like babies during the extreme overnight weather.

This was an Ideal anchorage with a nice feeling of isolation. We had 1 other boat in this space that anchored over a half-mile away. Good holding in a mud bottom. Minimal tidal current for a pass like this. Watch your charts to stay outside of the shorelines very large low tide shelf of 2 feet and less! Well Protected from north and south; decent protection from east. Minimal protection from pure west winds.

One of the finest anchorages to be found on the Gulf Coast of Florida! Skinny water at the entrance but plenty of room to maneuver after that. You will find dozens of boats at all times with room for more. This has access to the Cayo Costa Parks via a short dinghy ride. Manatee breeding grounds nearby. Beaches, dolphins, fishing, and calm water are your reward.

Isolated anchorage, separated from the GIWW so minimal wakes. Good protection from all but easterly winds from Pine Island Sound. Plenty of room for dozens of boats with good space to swing. Mangrove shores prevent any access to Sanibel Island.

Friendly staff but they supported us on arrival and disappeared after that. The floating docks are clean and well cared for, but bring your own lines and bumpers. Nice restaurant with good sight lines to the marina. Grocery store shares the parking lot for the marina.
