A good marina - quirky and quaint with helpful staff. Depth at dock read anything between 3.8ft to 8.5ft. The manager said it was silt…..
On the waterfront of the town which is unusual and an experience.
Docks are a bit painful - pilings with a half runway pontoon. The absence of current and wind makes this less an issue. Attracts a good clientele.

Fantastic marina. Everything from the slips, staff, services, location were top notch. 15 minute walk from Beaufort. Very helpful instructions on approach from ICW posted on marina website. Really excellent. Best marina on my journey from Newport, RI.

What an impressive marina. Everything from the slips, staff, facilities and location were top notch. 15 minute walk to downtown Beaufort which is an added attraction. Marina posted very helpful instructions for approach from ICW. By far and away the stand out marina i stayed at on my journey from Newport, RI.

As others have said it's a gas station with slips in an area that cries out for an alternative to anchoring. Saw 6ft on the approach rather than the posted 8ft. Slips are the worst kind - half gangway with pilings. I single hand so docking was a nightmare. Helpful staff to the extent they can from the shoreside. Food is ok but novel. Showers and toilets are substandard.

I was rather dreading this anchorage but it was a necessity. In the end despite the noise of the area, it was quite a pleasant experience. I arrived at slack high tide so anchoring single handed was easier than I had feared. Equally I departed at slack. The north wind against the current was interesting but a good stop overall.
