This is our 3rd visit and as always the staff are friendly and helpful. There is always someone ro help tie up, the facilities are very clean and presentable. Laundry is a great price compared to some in Florida. There is not much around the marina but the bar under the bridge provided a good spot for refreshing drinks in the heat and a much need breeze

I was aware that they did not take bookings but as it was Thanksgiving weekend I called to see if it was busy and there was a chance we could get into the marina itself. I was told that they didn't think it would be a problem and they had plenty of space. Fast forward one day and we had a altercation with a concrete pylon under the bridge, near the marina, which caused damage along the waterline. I called by phone and radio but no answer. We proceeded to the marina anyway just to tie up and assess the damage. As we were approaching the only available space on the dock we were greeted a woman screaming No! No! You can't go there!. I shouted explaining we had sustained damage, we were taking on water and just needed 5 mins to assess the situation. She was very rude and unhelpful just kept telling us we couldn't tie up and that the office was closed ( it was 3pm!) We had no choice but to turn around and fortunately Safe Harbor Marina got us in. We felt that they could have told us the previous day that they would be closed early and we would have made other arrangements. Not helpful in a very stressful situation!!

We called June 18th for overnight dockage and we were advised that they have a 3 night minimum stay...not sure if this was a seasonal requirement.

They need ro update the information and website for this Marina. We arrived on a Sunday with no staff and the lady on the radio advised us to "go whereever you can find a spot". We initially tied up along a concrete wall with pilings, no electric or water. The lady at the resort club apologised and sent someone down the next morning to move another boat so we could get electric. The water was a long way away and we were advised that it was not potable. The marina is not in good shape, no showers or facilities. Laundrette is across the road with a very helpful lady who will do it all for you. The resort club staff were very helpful but it is a 10 minute car ride away, so not easily walkable. Shuttle doesn't exist but they do try to pick you up and drop you back if they can. Nadine was excellent but she seems to be running the resort by herself!!
We ended up renting a car and exploring but was disappointed with the marina itself as it promised so much and did not deliver as far as facilities were concerned although it does have a very friendly manatee!

The third bridge in this series of 15ft Bascule bridges and all show incorrect depths on the board
We went through at roughly an hour before low tide and board showed 9ft. I have photographic evidence.

Great little Marina, accommodated us on a T dock at short notice, Staff very friendly and helpful. It is a small country Marina with few amenities but well protected and quiet, suited us well..

Operator excellent and responsive only issue is that guide states 15ft but when we passed was only 10ft. So be aware .....

Bridge clearances published in Waterway Guide are taken from the NOAA, USACE or Canadian charts. Per vessel Beach Cat, the clearance reported was as shown on the tide boards.
