The dock near the low bridge has a beautiful park with live oaks and sandy paths. Lots of dogs playing when we were there and doggy station (go left when you come off the dock area). The restrooms were clean and had a filtered water machine. Trash cans were plentiful. Not that we would ever have considered landing at Epworth by the Sea, but we did notice it was gated and the gate was closed at the little dock there.

It took us twenty minutes to get here from the ICW but we only average 5 knots. It was a breezy night so no bug problems and our anchor held well. We did not go to the island so cannot comment on shore access. Only a couple of boats passed by all evening.

It was a windy night so no problems with bugs. We didn't see shallows less that 6 feet. We tucked ourselves round the bend - further in than the anchor symbol and had a comfortable night. No cell phone (T-Mobile).

We used the dinghy dock right by the bridge as depicted on Google Maps. There is a coffee shop (The Workshop) across the street which has outdoor seating . We enjoyed a meal at the South Beach Grill, again with outdoor seating if you have a dog with you. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach.

Dockhands are amazing - they get to know your name and are very considerate. We enjoyed the Rusty Hook restaurant which welcomed our dog on the back courtyard. There is a coffee shop about a mile away which we walked to. The showers are basic but are kept very clean and have good water pressure.

This marina is right in town so we enjoyed being able to walk everywhere. The shower rooms are nicely done, and kept clean. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to our changing requests and we were able to have parcels delivered here.

This marina is very well organized. We received an email in the morning with details of our slip and wifi password etc. The marina is small and the dock master, Doris, came to help us with our lines. She comes to your boat in the morning if you request a pump out. We enjoyed eating at the Barracuda Grill which was a two minute walk. The pool was large and warm with a bar next to it. In the evenings there is another bar to watch the sunset from. All really nice and well maintained. The only let down were the showers which are housed in an older shed like structure across a dirt road. They were clean, but never looked it because there was wet dirt on the floors. There were also signs of past leaks and a little mold. I still had a good shower with my flip flops on, but they could do with a whole new shower block for marina boats only. Despite that, still one of our favorite marinas so far.
