Now use Snag-a-Slip instead of Docwa, which I'd submitted. I called since we were arriving same day and they took care of it for me over the phone.

Great price to stay in NYC! Short walk (a few blocks)to subway, restaurants, groceries, liquor store, The Cloisters and more! Free street parking for friends to visit. Not for big boats. We're 42' and that's about the max for the mooring balls. Louis is very knowledgeable and helpful, call to see if they can accommodate. We were a bit of a dinghy ride to the dock, with a locked gate 24/7. Sailing club share the restrooms. No other amenities, but we loved Dyckman Street and all it offered. Couldn't have afforded to stay a week (1 night free) at a marina!

    • WG Editor Comment:

Schdule above is per the bridge tender. The CFR's nor LNM's do not list this schedule.

Great anchorage! 2 of us rafted & held beautifully for 4 nights waiting out wind & storms east of us. Sandy bottom. 7-10 feet. Highlight was Blue Angels flyover several times! Plenty of room for more boats. There were 6 boats one night. We went ashore to explore the fort ruins.

Beautiful anchorage! The waterfall is a bonus! Not much swing room, so we tied stern off to a tree on shore. Very protected except from the east. only 1 bar Verizon

Very friendly & helpful! They have a courtesy van to go to town to small grocery & liquor store. Small store on-site with marine products & essentials.
