Marina Review for Bradford Marine

Ok marina in an industrial area. It is a working shipyard catering to super yachts so it can be loud during the day. No too many amenities but we knew that going in. There were a couple restaurants around that you could dinghy/walk to.
Be warned though: we asked about nearby places to get a pump out and they said "No problem, we can arrange one." Only thing is that they neglected to tell us it would cost $250! I think we should have been warned so we could make other more reasonable arrangements.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

What a wonderful marina! Granted it does not have all the bells and whistles that some other marinas have, but it has good facilities and a helpful staff. They even presented us with a swag bag with a jar of jelly in it! This is definitely going to be one of our stopping points.

There is a bar and a restaurant just a short dinghy ride away. We were here New Years Day and it was a zoo. Lots of day trippers zooming at full speed through the anchorage with no thought for other boats. My husband's remark was he has never seen so many rude/oblivious boaters in his 40 years on the water. I don't think we will be returning because of them.

Mostly quiet. There was one daytripper who insisted on dropping their anchor 30 feet from our boat (and playing loud music) even though it is a huge anchorage and there were plenty other spots. Other than that rude boater everything else was beautiful. You can dinghy to shore easily for pet relief and there is a dock, although we didn't go there. No amenities but much peace and quiet. We will be returning to this spot often.

The facilities at this marina are exceptional and the dock staff are very helpful. The approach is tricky, though. Be sure to talk to the marina as soon as you get in sight so they can guide you around the shoals.

Absolutely one of the best marinas that we have stayed at. They are more that willing to help with everything. Almost everything you need is either right on or a short distance away. When we showed up and ask to borrow a courtesy car the manager gave us hers.
Their new restaurant is going to be open in the near future according to the owner.
The marina was quiet and peaceful, too.
We plan to stay here whenever we are in the neighborhood.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

A quaint stopover on our way south. We decided we had to stop here because of all the people raving about the prime rib. It lived up to the hype!
As far as the marina, it is just dock space not slips but the dockhands were wonderful and it was nice and peaceful.
I don't think I would stay here for anything but a stopover (to get the prime rib) because there is nothing around but I am glad we stopped.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Worton Creek Marina is a wonderfully quiet bucolic marina. It is older and a bit rustic but for a place to unwind and take a break from life, I cannot imagine a better place. The staff is wonderful and went out of the way for us. The marine store is well stocked and there is a grocery store that will deliver to the marina. We will definitely make this a stop when on the Chesapeake.

Awesome place to stop but you have to be there early to get place on the dock. We got there at 12:30 and took the last stop. There is a nice anchorage right near by if the docks are full. There were only 3 power hookups. The Tiki bar that was very close had amazing Crab and Shrimp nachos! Beware that the middle of the channel can be very shallow. We will be stopping here whenever we can.
