Great anchorage and for those who don't know, there is a laundry mat called Miracle Washer just outside of Hatchet Bay. You can do it yourself or Drop Off Service. It's about a 15 minute walk from the Government Dock. Walk towards Gregory Town and look for orange and grey building on East side. They are open every day from 8AM - 8PM and also offer snacks, ice cream and drinks. Great place.

Excellent stop on Erie Canal for the night. Great rate, with showers and laundry and award winning water. Harbour Master Joe is a charm and will assist you with whatever you need.

Be very careful of this Marina until it gets a break wall, all around the Marina. We pulled in with our Catalina 36 and was told it would be a little rollie. This was an understatement. The ferry traffic kicks up some serious wake and as far as I am concerned, it was just simply dangerous having the boat there. Super great staff but not worth potential damage to your boat.
