    The clearance of the of 2nd avenue Bridge is 21 ft not 11 it is the same prior to the one east of it which is South Miami.

    He is required to open one time before noon. At closing a curfew kicks in until 1pm. however if a car goes entering the Miami River all bridges must open even during curfew. these bridges pay a fee to enter the river and exit the river that's why they have clearance to open during curfew hours. The wonderful world of logistics of money.

    because of the low clearance. the amount of traffic vehicle and vessel is always busy. there are always speeding through with there cars taking out traffic barriers. I'm a bridge tender on the river a little bit of an advice there is a curfew however 5th Street opens every 10 minutes because of the amount of traffic.
