We ducked up the creek a bit and to make sure we were out of the way of tugs that run at night. Sunrise and sunset are outstanding.

What can I say, been here 5 times up and down. Good people, good food, nice heads, pumpout. They are always very helpful. Call ahead if you want the prime rib (2 sizes 16 & 32). Nice run from base of alligator ether way. Coinjock is either 1st or last stop on the ICW. And if you are avoiding Hatteras you can just go down the sounds to Beaufort.

Great free dock, plenty to do around it, big tides. Woke up at midnight to the dock underwater and needed to redo lines and fenders. Left around 9am as tide was coming up and we were on an overnight to Edgewater MD (we should have waited till 11 but we jumped to avoid changing lines), so we got in at 4am in the dark.

We came in at 4am and grabbed a spot on the outside of a T and went to sleep (coming in at night into Salt Pond is an event, full very narrow). When we woke up and wandered into office, they were very nice and we only stayed overnight so they disregarded our early arrival We borrowed a car and went to the Local West Marine for parts. The run from there to Coinjock was long but we made it ending up in dark..

Marked as day only, but we were at the north end of the dock and spent the night. No power or water but lots of options within walking range. Planned on tell any gaurd that we could not go as darkness had overtaken us, but no one came.

Holiday is a full service marina: no fuel, but everything else you might need. Ron is onsite owner and easy to work with. Bathrooms are clean and nice. Power and water at every slip and not charged for. Onsite crew 24/7 so safe when your not there. Walk-able to store and pizza. Grills on-site as well as tables. Most er work is quickly attended to.

Cranes around center span , crew moved one out of center as we approached. Slight delay. Center pan is restricted due to barge parked along side eastern side of span in channel
