Have stayed here long and short term. Though the facilities are a bit tight for entry/exit, there are some masterful dock personnel to aid and assist if needed. The facilities area bit on the rustic side but certainly sufficient for your needs. There is access to a haul out crane and both craddles and stantions to rest on . We spent one winter in the water (with bubblers) and another one on the hard while we RVed down South. There's decent restroom/shower facilities and a small ships store (they can order anything you want/need. Though they do not have a repair shop or crew per second, they do allow your self service work and can assist with many efforts. They are able to connect you with pros in about every area and Great Lakes Diesel is just a stone's throw across the river. Saying they don't do repair work is very misleading. They provide it all. Also, though there is no gas/deisel on the immediate premises, there is a gas dock (availabile on request) just outside the entrance/exit of the north basin. Though it might not look like much, don't be fooled. They are real pros and offer a kind hand and a warm heart. Personally, we couldn't ask for more. Kindness and caring combined with respectfulness, knowledge and experience go s long way towards making this a quality stop. Oh and before I forget, there are several small shops, restaurants and a quality ACE hardware within walking distance (we often ride our folding bikes). Sandusky is just 5 miles away and Cleveland 43. We occasionally rent a car front Enterprise (they really do pick you up) to make extended trips since dropping our car in Atlanta before starting America's Great Loop this summer. If you make a stop here, I suspect you'll be glad you did. Blessings, Bruce and Nan
