Reviews Summary
The reviews for the marina present a mixed but generally positive experience. Key highlights include:
1. Helpful Staff: Many reviewers praised the friendly and accommodating staff, particularly mentioning the dock master, Logan, for his responsiveness and assistance with docking.
2. Facilities and Services: The marina offers a wide range of services and is conveniently located near the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) and Port Everglades. Reviewers noted the availability of various service companies, making it a good choice for those needing maintenance or repairs.
3. Security: The marina is noted for its strong security measures, with 24-hour surveillance and friendly guards, contributing to a sense of safety for boaters.
4. Access: The marina provides reasonably easy access from the Atlantic and the ICW, although some reviewers mentioned challenges with maneuvering due to narrow paths and crowded conditions.
5. Cleanliness and Amenities: While some reviews highlighted clean and well-managed facilities, others pointed out issues with the bathrooms, showers, and overall cleanliness, indicating a need for improvement in these areas.
6. Noise and Bugs: Several reviewers mentioned significant noise from nearby airport operations and a problem with bugs at night, which could detract from the overall experience.
7. Location: The marina's somewhat isolated location was noted as a downside for longer stays, although some found the proximity to interesting activities, like watching shipping operations, to be a positive aspect.
Overall, the marina is recommended for short stays or for those needing services, but potential visitors should be aware of the noise and cleanliness issues. -

We got hauled here to have Sun Power Diesel work on our boat. The marina staff was very helpful and the haul out was very easy. It was the first time I had been hauled without having anyone with boat hooks to get me in position, but the operator of the lift did an excellent job directing me. Getting back out of there was a little tricky because there is only a narrow path to the travel lift and not a lot of room to turn around.

4/11-18 We were here for engine work completed by Gillen Yacht Services. Their team (Charles, Nick and Luka) was great! We were on the hard for two days and then at dock for 6 while waiting on part. Docked right by the working haul out area which was fascinating. Great security at this facility — guards were very friendly. Harbor master was helpful given our need for an extended stay. Location is a bit isolated for a longer stay which was the only negative.

Very large marina with many services companies on property. The positives are: very close to the ICW and the Port Everglades inlet, good security and friendly staff. The negatives are significant airport noise and a large problem with bugs at night. Is good for a short or overnight stay or if you need services.

I have had my boat at this marina in dry storage for a year and I'm very happy. 24 hr security and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is only a few minutes to the ICW and Port Everglades. I have used the fuel dock and again the staff there are very helpful and courteous.

Good helpful staff.
Reasonably easy access from the Atlantic - very good access from the ICW.
Very aged docks.
Very unpleasant bathrooms, showers, and laundry. How do marinas let it get this bad?
Wifi is so-so.
HUGE selection of services. Basically I would only use this marina if you are getting work done on your boat. All of the services here seem to be very good, but they are all priced as such.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

A big busy marina with easy access to Atlantic ICW and close to ocean access as well.
Very helpful and friendly personnel. Dock master Logan was extremely responsive and accommodating!!
Our vessel is a 1937 60 ft Trumpy that is not as maneuverable as more modern yachts so we requested a relatively simple dock space.
Logan gave us a great face-dock spot on our way south. On the return trip they gave us a slip right near an entry gate which made it very easy to get an Uber pick up or get take out food delivered. The employees have list of area restaurants in the office. Typical marina amenities are available. Watched numerous day boaters using the boat washing facilities.
Harbour Towne is next to a large container shipping marina and near the departure runway of Ft Lauderdale airport so it’s a bit noisy during peak hours. We actually got a kick out of watching dock workers maneuver the containers on to long bed trucks, giant container ships come and go and bright yellow Spirit airlines planes take off across a beautiful blue sky.
We will definitely stay here again.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Marina was crowded and dirty. It was a big marina, but most of the spaces were filled and it was very hard to dock.
