The Alpena Marina is two blocks from downtown Alpena, which has boutique shopping, breweries, and several restaurants. The Alpena marina is within a half-mile of a number of parks, beaches, and the Great Lakes Maritime Heritage Center; and is connected to it all by the Alpena Bi-Path, an 18-mile walking and bicycling path.
