The waters in this area form one of the busiest ports on the NJ ICW with hundreds of berths, restaurants, chandleries, marinas, boat builders, repair yards and boat brokerages. Droves of charter captains are ready to take you deep-sea fishing and reservations are a must, especially on summer weekends. Boat traffic can be extremely congested on summer weekends in both the inlet and the river.
