  You can reach the square basin with one concrete wall for the mailboat via a cut through the beach rock and coral. The beach reef on the north side remains a hazard, but there are range marks – two triangles on stakes behind the dock. The dock is untenable, even for the mailboat, in southwest and northwest winds of any strength.
