Another great stay at Albemarle Plantation Marina. Great facility, beautiful surroundings, and a great staff. The dockmaster JE and Wayne went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well secured. We were able to explore the community more this time and met a bunch of really nice people. We will be back for another visit on our way south.

Part of the Albemarle Loop. Great place to unwind and destress. Very pet friendly. Community with golf course, marina, tennis, pool, complimentary ice, restaurants, lots of walking, friendly, welcome packet. $25 for golf cart for entire stay.

I cannot say enough good things about Albemarle Plantation Marina! The marina is located in a large development called Albemarle Plantation (or the Plantation or AP). We spent 20 days at the marina. My wife need to fly to Seattle for her mother's surgery. JE (the Dock Master) gave us a great quote for staying at the marina. Golf cars are available for a modest fee. Pumpouts are free. Gas and diesel are available on C dock. The bathrooms and showers are located in the same building as the Dockside Cafe and yacht club. The Cafe is open Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Transient boaters staying at the marina get a 10% discount. JE took us to the local fire department fundraiser - over 50 pigs were barbecued and 4000 plates served! Laundry is free. The Plantation is working on getting permits and funding for a breakwater. The first two nights are free (a part of the Albemarle Loop promotion). This is a great stop!

JE and Wayne will do anything they can to make your stay comfortable. Everything was top notch from the staff to the facilities. A great place to take a break since they have all of the normal necessities plus extras like 2 restaurants, golf carts, golf, pool, library, and even a tennis court. Just follow the day marks to bring you right in.
