The South Florida Water Management District made a temporary change in operations for the S-310 Boat Lock in Clewiston on October 1, 2023.
Operating Hours
- The boat lock is open each day from 5:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. for boaters to lock through the structure. The boat lock closes each night from 8:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. and boaters will not be able to lock through the structure.

- Comments will be shared with the reviewed marina to offer them an opportunity to respond. If they choose to do so, the marina’s comments may also be posted in response to the original comment.

- Comments containing personal attacks will be rejected or returned for resubmission.
- Off-topic content will be rejected.
- Comments must describe commenter's personal experience – “hearsay” reports will be rejected.

Draft: 3.0'The entrance to the lock is immediately off the canal and is a super small lock. Beyond it is Roland Martin Marina along an equally narrow canal but there is a turn around basin.

Draft: 3.0'We got stuck at the lock but were able to back out. The lock is not operating as of last night. We rafted onto the fence inside the staging wall at the gate. They tried repairing it but need more time.
