The marina and location are good, but if you're sensitive to noise, be warned that every time a vehicle drives over the nearby drawbridge, it sounds like rumbling thunder or bow thrusters. Also, the restaurant uses a leaf blower between midnight and 12:30 am (maybe this is just on rainy days, we were here waiting out the weather.)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SCYC, both at the dock and on a mooring ball. Just wanted to point out that the marina does not have its own restrooms. You can use the restaurant bathrooms when they are open, but you are out of luck overnight.

We love both the marina and the mooring field EXCEPT that the mooring field is full of crab traps. We had one directly behind our boat, and had I not grabbed the ball on the first try, with the winds and the currents, we easily could have wound up with the line around our prop. Unfortunately, Florida law only prohibits crab traps from being placed in navigation channels, no prohibition for mooring fields.

The railway tracks on the bridge are under repair (an entire section is missing), so the bridge shouldn't need to close for trains anytime soon.

Beware: If you call and ask the price, you get one price, but if you make a reservation online, the price is $1 more. I was not told this on the phone call, and there was "nothing they could do" after the fact.
