Noteworthy:

In cold weather, Desoto Park (2 miles away) has a bunch of manatees in there. it is well worth the visit when it is cold.

We have a large pod of dolphins that are always out playing in the water. Many times they are in the marina itself but at the very least you can see them playing up by the fuel docks
