  • Reviews Summary

Legacy Harbour Marina receives consistently positive reviews for its well-maintained facilities and friendly staff. Reviewers highlight the clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities, as well as the strong WiFi and in-slip pump-out service. The marina's location is praised for its proximity to downtown Fort Myers, making it convenient for dining and shopping. Many appreciate the wide fairways and floating docks, which facilitate easy docking, although some mention that booking can be challenging due to its popularity.

Guests enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the marina's suitability as a staging point for trips across the Okeechobee Waterway. While the marina is described as clean and secure, a few reviews note minor drawbacks, such as tight docking arrangements and the absence of a full-service ship store. Overall, Legacy Harbour Marina is regarded as a favorite stop for boaters, offering a welcoming environment and a sense of community.

Legacy Harbour Marina has been reviewed many times and many good things have been said about the facilities. Reading all the reviews, we agree with the comments. Well maintained docks, great staff, clean bathrooms, showers and laundry, excellent On Spot internet, great downtown location, in slip pump-out, good security, and a "No Drama" feeling to the whole place. The marina is well situated for the trip up the Caloosahatchee to Moore Haven for those crossing Okeechobee. It is 16 miles off the GIWW for those who are continuing on south. It is definitely a good place to stop and relax.

Nice clean modern facility with floating docks and all of the usual features. Wide fairways for an easy approach. Fairly secure fenced facility. This is a quiet dockage with not a lot of activity observed. Very popular place and consequently difficult to book in advance.

Great marina with floating docks and wide walkways. Very friendly and helpful staff. Self serve in slip pumpout that is one of the best we have found on the great loop. Nice laundry and clean bathrooms. Strong WiFi. Nice town with good restaurants and shops. Lots of nice places to take the dog for very long walks. One of our favorite stops.

Having been here since August 2020, I am really pleased to be able to share our experience. We love Legacy Harbor. The entrance channel brings you in to the lagoon, and our experience has been that the transients are offered dockage allowing easy in/out. The fairways in the marina are wide, and well marked for the docks, with clearly displayed color flags. The staff strives to make sure guests and residents have any concerns addressed, along with professional line handling services. Because of a negative experience at another marina, I feel the in-slip self-service pumpout is a big plus, and the marina has a wonderful view up and down the river. The downtown restaurant and historic district is an easy walk, as are the Edison Gardens. Overall, I consider Legacy to be as much home as our boat.

Good staging spot for Okeechobee Waterway. Nice floating concrete docks. Clearly marked with large colored flags. Deep water. Strong wifi. Clean but small showers. Shoehorn transient boats into tight spots where a docking miscue will cause damage to neighboring boats.

This is a great stop at the end or beginning of your Okeechobee trip. The entire marina is spotless and the dockhands were very helpful. The location is great- just blocks from downtown shops and restaurants and you can also walk to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. Floating docks with in-slip pumpout at no charge and security gates. No real ship store to speak of but clean laundry and shower facilities.

Fantastic Marina! Captain Eric and his team at Legacy Harbor are professional, very accommodating and the premises is super clean and well lit. Docking is easy with nice docks and in slip pump out. Walk into downtown Ft Myers and also to Publix. Nice pool, laundry facilities, lounge, and great sunsets from the docks.

Very accommodating. Called from on the water and arranged to come in after hours. Left before they opened. Was a nice area, but the arrangement of the docks and lack of real seawall meant the marina itself was a bit lumpy when something big went by. No gas, either. Will try the Municipal dock on the next overnight, as they have fuel and solid looking docks.

Terrific floating docks, long walk to downtown, this is where many of the Gold Looper's spend their winters. Joe's Crab Shack on site.
