We had deep water all the way to the dock, although the entrance to the cove can be difficult to see without charts. The docks are in good shape but the cleats are very small, making it difficult to tie up without help. We were asked to arrive before 5pm so they could help tie up but nobody came down. We were fine but if help is needed be sure to ask for it when you approach. Showers and toilets were rustic but clean. The restaurant closed for the season before our stay. The marina is totally protected from weather. Plenty of power pedestals but few water spigots on the transient docks. Useful boat store and convenience shop.

Good location and place to stop if you are looking for the halfway point between Chattanooga and Knoxville.
Fuel docks are easy to get in and out of. Their fuel pricing was in the middle range. During this delivery, I found gas way higher and some lower. They generally have good facilities, restrooms, showers, a ship's store, and a restaurant only open Thursday - Sunday. Wi-fi seemed to work well, and when we arrived, there were a few staff to help. Transient fees were $1 / foot, which was as low as I had on this trip. The office staff wasn't what I would call friendly, but the facilities were good. I'll stop there the next time through.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

This is my second review as our more recent visit we were treated very poorly. Stayed only one night with absolutely no help getting in or out and very rude man in the office. Not even a hello the entire time we were there. Just the price, took my card and handed me the receipt. Not sure what happened but they didn't deserve our business, so we decided not to buy our diesel there and just left the next morning. Bought our 500 plus gallons down the river at Terrace view. Should probably give it less stars but restaurant was still good!

Great transient stop. Strong docks, good electrical current, one of the largest ships store on the rivers, calm protected waters. Fuel and supplies available.

Stayed 2 nights and bought 200 Gallons of diesel. Very nice people inside the office/store and at the gas dock. $1 a foot seemed fair for the worn docks. The restaurant, Crows Nest, had the best burger we have ever had. Highly recommend this stop. Make sure restaurant is open before you go.
