Overall great Marina and great stay. Dockmaster Daniel check with us the morning of our arrival via a phone call them was waiting in the dock as we approached.

The Marina is connected with multiple adjacent hotels whose amenities were available to us to use.

Unfortunately, we only had a one night stop over at MdM, it really looks like a great place. Staying on your boat makes the use of the amenities of the three resorts a bargain that you just can't find elsewhere in the area. The marina offers a couple of different options for docking - including side ties against the canal wall, and slips with finger piers. Bulkheads, finger piers, and shore power/water pedestals are in good condition. The Dockmaster, Daniel Watson is is top notch and did a great job handing our reservations (including a change due to weather) and was there to great us and assist in docking when we arrived. He then provided a full run down on what the marina and resort had to offer and answered all our questions. Hopefully next time we'll be able to stay a bit longer and enjoy more of the resort.

Be mindful of the email sent to you describing the approach (with shallow spot at the canal entrance) and required Securite Calls.

We had a great stay here while doing our AGLCA loop trip. Stayed for 12 nights and had an awesome time.
I wanted to give the dock master, Daniel a shout out, as he was the best. The girl at the front desk next to the marina office was so helpful with my mail deliveries.
We enjoyed their free breakfast, pools, laundry facilities too. Did the half day fishing trip while there. Didn't catch any fish, but it was fun.
Hope to see you all again. Thank you.

Very protected. Nice pools, couple restaurants right there, easy bike ride to Pennekamp State Park. Busy during daytime with dive, snorkel, and tour boats - plus THE African Queen of Bogart and Hepburn fame! Good dog walking. Getting in through the narrow and heavily trafficked channel required vigilance and communication via radio, but doable. Recommend avoiding the times the glass bottom boat is coming/going (check their schedule).

Daniel is one of the best dockmasters we have had. We came in waiting for a weather window to go back north and he was very accommodating. Restaurants and grocery close by, many pools to use, and nice neighborhoods to walk in. Crash corner is easy in and out just listen for the boats to come in and out.

Great find. Little skinny getting in but worth it. 3 pools, lots of restaurants and convenient to everything. Daniel the Dockmaster is very accommodating. Fuel can be trucked right to your boat.

We stayed for one night enroute to Key West. Fixed docks that are a bit short. Never checked their washrooms or showers. Wifi worked for us. Staff were very nice. Don't forget to make a securite call before entering crash corner. We favoured the reds entering the channel for deepest water

They have fixed docks with a short finger (about 15 feet long). With a 2.5 foot tidal range, it can be a big step off the boat at times but very doable.

The marina is protected 360 and the three story buildings nearby provide some wind protection too. The dock comes with access to the swimming pool (complete with a towel) and free breakfast (Jimmy Dean egg sandwiches, danish, boiled egg, cereal, coffee, OJ, etc.) The WiFi at the dock is poor, we used cellular while there although you can access WiFi in the office for free. They have a good laundry room (4 washers, 4 dryers), showers, and bathroom - all with badge locks.

Skippers restaurant is next door and it's very good. We had a great dinner there one night and it's outside with a roof, good air flow. Other restaurants will require a car as nothing much is nearby. Enterprise rent a car is a 0.6 mile hike, I rented a car one day and explored the area, recommended.

We were able to duck in here to get out of weather. Dockmaster was very accommodating. We ended up staying a week to wrap up some repairs. Access to 3 pools, restaurants, laundry and a Divers Direct steps away. Great place for a few nights. Well protected from weather (considering you are in the Keys). Canal was tricky at entrance (4.5 feet ml) but 18 feet the rest of the way.
