A nice marina with fixed dock transient slips. The piles felt a little low and if not for an old screw we felt like our lines would have slipped over the top. Docking for transient is east to west so the south winds made it a little rolling at times. Facility was clean and staff were friendly but there is some maintenance items for the docks that need to be addressed.

I have been coming here since 1997. Marina staff have always been extremely cordial and helpful. I cannot say the same for the city people that are in control. Required four phone calls to extract how much for a long term slip rate. They refuse to rent long term because of a week long fishing tournament several months away. City employee was rude and uncooperative. They have allowed the marina to become run down, half of the slips are unusable due to neglect and lack maintenance. This is the only large marina from Corpus Christi to Key West that doesn’t accept AMEX. It is sad to see a place capable of being a 5 star marina producing substantial income for the city to be run by people that apparently have no regard for their patrons or success of the marina. Still a great place for short stop, as the marina staff make up for the short comings of the management. There are always slips available, as it appears the city does not want long term customers.

City owned Marina. Staff was very helpful as we came in from waters and channel new to us. They helped us tie up. This is at the back door of Golden Nugget casino, if that important to you. We arrived during early stages of coronavirus shut down, so very few other people around. It was a one night in and out stop and would choose it again.

This is a very nice marina. The people who run it are very good at what they do. Security rounds every hour, helpful, clean facility, fuel, Ice, bait, water. Mechanics available to help you from the local area if needed, just ask locals for recommendations. Approaches well marked but stay in the channels, its very shallow outside the channels. Sea Tow available out of this marina 24/7, the best on the coast. Charter fishing available also. Marine diving service available here also. Boat yard/haul out available nearby within 5 miles.

Nice marina, run by the city. Personnel seemed to be retired guys with boating experience . Good service and clean facility. Approach is well marked. Restaurants and casinos abound.
