We stopped here instead of Wrightsville where we stayed in 2023, in order to try something new and to get a few more miles behind us enroute to Beaufort. This marina was immaculate, and the staff was very professional, helpful and nice. ALthought there is no "town" or courtesy car, we were able to bike thru the residential golf neighborhood to ShackaTaco for good tacos and brews while listening to live music and enjoying a Farmers Market. Will definitely come here again.

Excellent overnight stop. It's true there is no restaurant or anything nearby, but lovely residential neighborhood for walking (dog friendly), very protected marina right on the ICW. Floating cement docks, very nice bathhouse. Great communication via text day of with instructions, welcoming staff waiting on the dock to assist.

    Business Response:

We chose this marina because we were wanting to limit the long distance days. We made good time from Southport to here but you have to make reservations as this is a private marina and they can only accomodate 4 boats max. If you're looking for a quite spot this may be it. All the slips are privately owned by the area homeowners and condos. It met our needs but we probably wouldn't suggest it as a stop.

This was my second time staying here and the first time in my own boat. There is limited transient parking, but I needed a spot halfway to Morehead City from the Southport area and this is a good option. I parked with another boat at the floating fuel dock, arriving minutes before a storm. My boat was tied up and I was snug on board when the sky opened up. Great assistance getting me parked. Very friendly staff. In a very sheltered basin right off the ICW. Even with high winds in the storm, my boat barely rocked. Nice facility with good restrooms close to parking. Surrounded by homes. There is nothing else there so come fully provisioned. Pet friendly with a grassy area right near parking.

Very nice marina. They are mostly private, only accommodating one night dockage for transients, but if that's all you need, good place to be. Dockhands were very helpful getting boat tied up to floating dock by fuel dock in front of dock house. Came in Monday 6/27/22, so they were open (they are not working Tuesdays and Wednesdays).
Restrooms/showers were clean and in good working order. Easy in and out from ICW, just follow markers, as other have said, line up 90 degrees to head into harbor.
    Would definitely visit again.

We usually stay at the fuel dock since we pull in late. The docks are first rate and the harbor has no wakes and no current plus the dockhands are always ready to help. The WiFi works and ice is available as well as a pump out if needed. The only thing missing is a courtesy car but one year we rent from Enterprise and explored the area, they will bring a car to the marina for you.

I have never posted a review on anything. The owner kindly emailed me a Google earth photo showing the best way to enter the Marina. I still managed to make a mistake. When trying to correct used my bow thruster to long. It quit. After docking with great help one of the owners ( Bret )came over with voltage meter and diagnosed a bad fuse adjacent the thruster. The mechanic who had updated my boat 4 years ago had " wire tied" a spare next to the bad one. Bret changed it and refused to let me pay him.

    Great folks

Service was a 4. The 1 rating is for they display their fuel prices in WG at $2.49 per gal for diesel, which was very high for the area. Everyone else is at $1.50. Needed fuel, put some on was charged $3.00 per gal. Totally my fault, should of paid attention before filling.

    Business Response:
thank you for your review - we try to stay competitive, but sometimes with fuel delivery's and market moves - things might be higher - or lower than anticipated. Side note - the WG you were looking at was old information from a printed book (maybe as much as 2 years old) - not current prices. We update our fuel prices on WG every week, unlike others in the area.

This is a gem of a marina. While there are no outside amenities that I know of (shopping, grocery, etc.), the marina itself is great and there is pizza delivery available. I reserved several days ahead of time and was told to call for directions when we reached the Wrightsville Beach Bridge. I did and received a text with a drone video of the approach and marina, written directions for tie up, and a picture of the marina layout. It made it SO EASY! It was great having the text with all of the information. I could double check the tie up instruction, review the approach and see where we would be docked. No guessing, no having to switch everything at the last minute, etc.
The marina itself is great. It is incredibly well maintained. The floating docks are all Trex decking and look brand new. There is a rubber bumper on all the edges. There are nicely maintained dock boxes all around. The bathrooms looked freshly painted and were scrupulously clean. There is keypad security for the showers and a private dressing area for each shower.
There is a nice neighborhood surrounding the marina, with plenty of good walking for any boat dogs on board.
I highly recommend Harbour Village Marina.

Now that is the good news. Bad news is that there is absolutely nothing around. Be prepared to cook on the boat and just rest for your run to either Swansboro, or all the way to Beaufort.
