Wonderful marina with floating docks in a quiet neighborhood! Lots of paved walking/biking trails nearby. Publix is about 2 miles away; beach access also about 2 miles away; there are a few restaurants also within biking distance. Neil and Crystal are amazing-very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying here!

Seems protection would be good from easterly winds since the beach and trees are on that side. Didn't go ashore, but beach is right there if you want to dinghy over or for pet relief area. ICW wasn't busy and we were pretty good distance away, so we didn't get many wakes.

First attempt at setting the anchor wasn't good due to a mix of sand and seaweed, but we were able to get good holding when we moved closer to the blue WG symbol. Strong winds out of the north made it a bit bumpy.

We have stayed here twice: on our way north in May 2021, and then again when motoring south in October 2021. Both stops were great! Brett and his crew are extremely helpful and accommodating, the bathrooms are very clean, floating docks are in great shape, and the local boat owners are very friendly. We highly recommend a stop at Harbour Village!

Lamb's Marina is a friendly marina! We spent 2 nights on our way south to wait for winds to calm in the Albermarle. Larry and Ed were very helpful as they met us at the dock to assist with lines. We visited both restaurants that were across the street: Track 1 (eat in or takeout) and Tidewater Catering (takeout only) and both were good "home style" cooking. There is a washer dryer on site ($1.50 wash, $1 dry). There are 3 very clean individual room restrooms that have a shower in each; including one disabled bathroom. There is some daytime road noise, but other than that, a nice quiet place to stay.

Nice free dock with clean restrooms (no showers). Easy access to the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail, which is great for walking, running, or biking.
