It's a great stop. There can be lots of current, but the dockhands know their stuff. They expertly tied us up when we arrived. CIA is within walking distance. FDRs home is a short uber ride away. As is the walkway over the Hudson. Downtown Poughkeepsie is close by with groceries and supplies too. The guys are always around and can give you some great advice. Easily a multi-night stop if you want it to be.

plenty of water as you come in, make sure the dock master is there to help you dock, the current is swift and there is some turbulence as the water moves on the bend. he was an expert, and we had no problem in and out. the culinary institute is within walking distance and the hill up is an easy one. the marina has gasoline and bathrooms. $1.50 a foot

Excellent service! Fuel dock is easily accessible (gasoline only). Bathrooms/showers were very clean. They are dog friendly and had a large patch of grass for the dog to run around on. 100% would stop here again and highly recommend them.

Helpful, friendly staff. Shallow 2 ft at entrance and inside marina past breakwater at low tide . Boats with more than 2 ft draft are tied to outside fuel dock and exposed to wakes and waves. Bathrooms filthy. Locals advised against walking or biking into town due to big hill and very busy road. Good Uber service and 1 mile to Culinary Institute of America.

Friendly dock hands that were waiting on the pier for us before we called. No grass areas to take a dog for a walk. Everywhere is gravel and dirt.
