We got gas and water at the fuel dock and took trash to the dumpsters. We then anchored behind the marina, George who works there gave us pointers on where to go and not go to anchor. Listen to him.
We were offered use of the showers, bathrooms, etc while anchored. And George's wife even offered the use of her car. They are Super friendly people. I 100% would go back again.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

It took me 30 minutes to clean it all off, and it was so heavy the windlass couldn't pull it up more than a foot above the water. I do not recommend anchoring here unless absolutely necessary, we went outside the jetties and anchored on the south side as there were northern winds. It was rocky from waves, but the anchor held and no seaweed.
The boat ramp is still easily accessible and the fuel dock is also very accessible.
There isn't much in town, but the dollar general is well stocked and just a few blocks away.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Excellent service! Fuel dock is easily accessible (gasoline only). Bathrooms/showers were very clean. They are dog friendly and had a large patch of grass for the dog to run around on. 100% would stop here again and highly recommend them.

Be aware there is a jet ski rental place that uses the open area. There is a "waterfront park and marina" it is public property. The marina appears to be closed or not opened yet, but there is a dinghy dock with ONE cleat. Easy dog walking. ACME grocery store and laundromat about .7 miles. Plenty of green area in the park to walk dog.

When that park is complete it should be great. I did not attempt WiFi or shopping.
