As we headed North on the Hudson leg of our Loop, we made a 2 night reservation at the Marlboro Yacht Club through Dockwa arriving Saturday and departing Monday- and are thankful that we did! Sean the harbor host reached out to us a couple of days in advance with information regarding arrival and our stay. Two members greeted us at the fuel dock and then caught lines at our slip. Within the first hour, no less than 6-8 members stopped by to welcome us, learn about our trip, and invite us to a cookout the club was having that evening. As the cookout was starting, members came to our boat and insisted that we join them.
This club made us feel part of the family from the moment we arrived. Their docks and facilities were outstanding too. Long story short - this was the most welcoming and fun group of people that we had met at any yacht club during our travels. The Commodore and his wife ( John & Rose) were excellent hosts and ensured that we were introduced to everyone. We had such a great evening ! If we were home ported in the area - MYC would absolutely be our #1 choice for membership. Most Highly Recommended! On our next trip, we will definitely be returning … and for a long weekend. Thank You - John, Matt, Darren, Mike, Sean and everyone who made our stay so enjoyable!

The people here make this marina a shining example of how to do things right!!!! Sean the harbor host is outstanding and goes out of his way to do whatever you need….as do the rest of the members. Notice I don't say staff, because there is none…..they are all members and work together! Wonderful outdoor areas, awesome clubhouse and they are expanding as the money allows!!! Great little town close by and a wonderful winery. We highly recommend you visit them!!! You won't regret it!!!!

Ahh, the swimming pool! My favorite stop this summer. No matter where you stop on the Hudson River there is going to be trains and wakes. There's no getting around it. The members at the yacht club are in charge of their own marina. They are pleased to meet you, willing to help and fun to talk with if time permits. There is free ice for your boat cooler, nice facilities to sit in the shade and barbecues. Town is a bike ride uphill so use those e-bikes if you have them. There's restaurants, wineries, distilleries, etc. Such a fun spot that we extended our stay.

Thank you so much for the kind words and especially spending a few days with us at the Marlboro Yacht Club, so great you have you, and appreciate all the looper knowledge you shared! That hill is certainly a test, but glad you enjoyed what there is to offer in the other side! Hope to see you again soon, safe travels!

What a friendly, great marina! The yacht club welcomes transient boaters. Everyone we met was glad we were here. The yacht club has a pool, outside lounge area with fire pit. Restrooms are nice. There currently is no laundry facility on site. A yacht club member drove us to and from the local 24 hour laundromat. He also offered to take us to the grocery store. There are boat wakes because the marina is on the Hudson River. This is a great stop when going up and down the Hudson River.

great friendly private club on the Hudson, transient reservations, DOCKWA. Pool, porch to sit, fire pit, showers, pump out and gas only/no diesel. great venue/restaurant on top of hill "The Falcon" with live music Thursday -Sunday, no cover charge, donation box with all going to musicians ..and a big waterfall on the property. groceries about 2 miles. there are trains but noise was not an issue, we slept good 3 nights
