First Great Marina if you want access to lots of food and bars! We walked to 2-3 establishments on a Tuesday. Nice downtown some places were closed but plenty to choose from. We did not walk very far but were told that they had other places a little further into town. Now the Marina: Well, instruction of where my transient slip was located was vague at best! I asked multiple times. Finally, I got on google maps which had pier numbers on them then I had an idea of where I was going. Asked again to which end of the pier was my slip? North or South Side? East or West end? Well, they came back with 5 from the end of the pier which didn't really answer my question. Then the rocking from south wind! Tie it up well, you are going to need it if the wind is blowing out of the south. Improvements: Dock personnel could be more helpful. They did not even come out to help tie up. Missed a TIP! If I had not gone looking for an office I could have stayed for free! Paid cash, no receipt? Not sure if the money went to the city.

Very nice marina just stayed here 3 day over Memorial Day holiday weekend. Staff very friendly and helpful, will give you a golf cart ride to the front. As some other reviews mentioned you do get some rocking if there is strong wind from the S or E. Couldn't sleep first night it was so bad but less winds other nights and it was calm.

Nice looking marina in a great area. My problem with the marina was the fact of a considerable surge (rolling while tied to dock 10 degrees in each direction) during stronger south winds. I was confused at first because the marina has a pretty narrow entrance, and not exposed to swell. Turns out there are large submerged holes all along the southern seawall that allows surge to enter the harbor. Asked the harbor master about this and was told they were required to put them in by the FED. to allow sturgeon the escape.

Great stop. Staff is very helpful with everything. Walk to restaurants. Cute town. We took our bike's along the beach path beautiful beaches and town. Fixed docks and train can be loud but didn't bother us. Fuel price was decent.

Awesome harbor and very well maintained facilities. Stopped for the day and needed to charge batteries upon arrival due to an alternator issue and didn't have extension cord onboard. Staff was very helpful in lending me one and allowing me to plug in for the day.

We've stayed at this marina in the past and had the fortune of working with Chuck the Harbor Master again this time. He is grateful to have a transient visitor and has lined us up with easy to access slips, which is a plus due to the often windy and swell conditions this marina often faces. The facility is nicely constructed with convenient access to all of BSL's old town businesses and waterfront restaurants. The Blind Tiger is our favorite. A BoatUS discount is not offered on the slip. Be sure to contact the RR bridge in advance to time your passing. There is no sense in departing the marina before ensuring a train is not in the area as the distance from the marina to the swing bridge is short. We'll be back!

Fixed docks, great staff. Plenty of room between docks. No washer/dryers and restroom were to far from our slip to be practical. Great access to this rebuilt town. Hurricane museum at Waveland is worth seeing.

Fairly new. Well maintained. Friendly helpful staff. Easy walking to "old town" area with shops and excellent restaurants. Especially enjoyed the Sycamore House for dinner. Buttercup for breakfast, 200 North Beach another dinner.

New Marina since Hurricane Katrina. Quaint artsy town of Bay St Louis. Great to walk or bicycle around, oak trees and slow paced atmosphere. Pet friendly restaurants along the waterfront. Trains nearby, some wave action with southerly winds.
