Nice staff, very good chef….but this place needs a lot of maintenance. We were told they have 3 generators for the island…2 have not worked in months , the remaining one overheated. So ran the boats generator all night. Marina is not well protected from winds from the west or south. Ropes get hung up on the bolts sticking out of pilings. Wi-Fi so so. Needs paint and a fresher. Prices are high… about a buck more for fuel over Green Turtle and a $1.25 to 1.50 per foot over near by islands. I think I'll skip SpanishCay next trip.

Nice staff, very good chef… Marina is in need of a lot of maintenance…we were told they have 3 generators for the island…. Two have not worked since September…the last one overheated and we lost electricity…. So no power at slip, had to run generator all night, watch for bolts sticking out of pilings, weak Wi-Fi. Over priced for an island with nothing to do. Fuel is also overpriced… about a buck more a gallon than Green Turtle. Slips are about $1.50 more a foot than nearby marinas. I think I will skip Spanish Cay next trip….

Spent a couple of nights here riding out a front. Great little Marina, good food at the restaurant but limited menu. Staff is fantastic. Of the three docks one is completely unusable as it's falling apart. the other two are serviceable but some slips do not have power or water. as others have mentioned, lots of potential but needs some serious investment to fix it up.

This marina is the perfect port of entry. the staff is helpful and attentive. Customs and immigration is onsite and very efficient. The marina has wide fairways and is easy in and out. If you are coming to the Bahamas via the Northern route, you should consider coming to Spanish Cay Marina.

Spanish Cay is an all private island with no services other than this public marina. Its a full service marina with good staff & facilities. Easy in/out with an effective sea wall keeping the swell outside. Like most Bahama marinas there is an electric & water charge on top of the per foot price. The island electricity comes from generators. So occasional, short outages can be expected. They have wifi which was very good around the office & restaurant, but weak at the docks. Strong BTC cell & data signal. In the slow season (winter) the restaurant hours are flexible. Some nice beaches & snorkeling
