Although we did not end up at their marina, Pete's Pier, who went above and beyond, was very helpful and honest about depth situation of river channel and shoaling, of their marina, and getting into King's Bay. They also offered out Buzzard Island anchorages as another great option, as we would be arriving after office hours. Our draft is 3.5' and river channel was skinny in several places at high tide!

Called at 8 am to see if there were any transient docks. Was told they would call as soon as they could find out. Called again at 11am with same response. Called at 3 and woman said she was too busy to call back, very crappy customer service

Very nice stop at this "old Florida" marina, Marina staff were excellent. Stayed two nights on a floating dock and enjoyed the stay very much. Great assistance at fuel island and docking. Golf cart was a huge help, ran out to West Marine and grocery store while there. Laundry near grocery store was nice. Secure head & shower facility as convenient. Snacks and ice were readily available. Great stop, we will be back earlier in the year to spend time swimming with the Manatees. Thanks Pete's Pier - see ya'll next time.

Very enjoyable stop. Planned to stay 2 nights. Ended up staying 2 weeks due to adverse weather. We took the dinghy to see the manatees and had a chance to swim among them. We are over halfway on our Great Loop trip, and I think this was one of our highlight of our trip so far. Jeff, Dominic and all the marina staff were helpful and pleasant. Also, the floating docks are much more convenient than fixed docks, especially with a dog. There was some coastal flooding due to the stormy weather and the fixed docks near us were underwater for awhile. It is also pet friendly. There were lots of places to walk our dog. Pete's Pier Marina has a golf cart they loan to transient boaters, so laundry, groceries and restaurants were accessible. I plan to come back with friends next month to go on the manatee tour. We highly recommend this stop.

Nice stop. Floating Docks, Electric, Water, Bathrooms and Shower. Nicole could not of been more helpful. We took a Manatee tour that started at the Marina, was very informative, saw some Manatee's. We would come here again.

New docks were installed just before Christmas. They are floating. 50 amp power. The reminder will be updated in the next construction period. The marina is a busy place as it is the centre of Manatee viewing tour operators and a busy boat launch. One shower for boaters. No laundry.
Staff are helpful and ready to assist when you are coming in during hours. The marina also provides tide tables which are very important to negotiate you way in and out. Note tide co-efficeint and wind direction as north and east winds reduce the water level even more.
Crystal River itself is a fun stop with some interesting shops and restaurants. The Waterway Guide says manatee tours are a nominal fee - currently are $95 + pp. We took our dinghy around to the springs to drift and had good luck seeing a few.
Fairly long way to shore and grass for dogs. The older dock sections are challenging for smaller dogs as their paws slip between the boards.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Wonderful Marina and staff. It’s an old school marina. The staff was super friendly. Golf carts on hand to go into town for food, West Marine, laundry, restaurant’s, and shopping. New owners are fixing the place up. So many improvements since my last visit.

Great folks! They have golf carts so you can run into town for dinner, West Marine, and a nice local laundromat. Manatee and tarpon located at the marina.

The hospitality here was excellent, a golf buggy was provided for our exclusive use, and restaurants and groceries were accessible with it. The only reasons for not making it 4 star were the absence of a laundry and no wifi for guests. Three Sisters nature reserve nearby was well worth a visit, with freshwater springs which manatees frequent Nov-Mar. Vistited Crackers bar for live music and good seafood.
