Great stop in a great location. There is a coon dog cemetery in the area - what's not to like ?! Easy entrance and fuel access. Clean private restrooms and shower. Courtesy van with tons of places for provisioning. Their PDF info sheet is a great help, with contacts for everything under the sun. Very good info on the Wilson Lock passage. Also good restaurant on site. Quiet stay which was welcomed after a long day of high winds and rain in route. Florence Harbor will be a regular stay for us as the TN river system is our "Home waters".

Excellent stop as we worked our way back to Knoxville TN on the last leg of our Great Loop. We hunkered down here for 2 days as Hurricane Francine made landfall and pushed rain and high winds up the TN valley. For added protection, was given a covered slip - which was MUCH appreciated. Easy access to the fuel docks. Marina is extremely well protected from wind. All personnel were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. The restaurant was outstanding as well. We will stay here for sure on our next trip down the TN river,

This was a much needed stop for our Great Loop Group. The docks were in fantastic shape. Greg on the fuel dock was a great ambassador for the town and made us all feel welcomed. Very appreciative of this transient dock facility. Paducah was very nice to visit with good restaurants. We would have really appreciated a good bath / shower facility after a week working our way down the Upper Mississippi…… having a secure mooring and the fuel dock, we can't complain. We will always stop here for a few days when traveling through.

Wow - Kenlake Marina was excellent! It was the first location we have had with showers/bath /laundry facilities since we started down the Mississippi River. Wish that we had planned a few more days here. Well marked entrance channel, plenty of depth, easy accessible fuel dock and plenty of maneuver room to the transient face dock. The breakwater provides great wind and wake protection. This was the first quiet night sleep that we have had since leaving the upper Illinois River. Very nice, clean, private bath/shower facilities. Laundry with 3 or 4 washers and dryers. Very good restaurant that serves Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. Nice state park adjacent with great walking and pet area. Houseboat residents and all employees were very welcoming. After 4500 miles of the Great Loop - it's nice to be back "home" in TN/KY. We homeport in East TN and will definitely be returning to Kenlake Marina.

Heritage Harbor was a top 5 marina for us after 4,000 miles of travel around the Loop. Excellent people on the docks, in the office, and a fantastic Harbor Host who catches lines and welcomes visitors. Wonderful facilities - bath house, pool, Tiki Bar area, cornhole boards, etc. Well stocked ships store with many provision "essentials" without leaving the marina. Nice restaurant with great covered deck overlooking the marina. Easy access to the fuel dock and an efficient young man running it. Easy access to Uber for major provisions ( Super Walmart, Kroger, Aldi, Blains Farm and Fleet located in one area of town.
Nightly Captain's Brief covering the river travel ahead, anchorages, marinas, etc all the way to KY Lake. Excellent brief by very knowledgeable instructor- very much appreciated! We will plan a longer stay on our next trip, for sure.

Excellent Marina in a beautiful setting with great floating docks, easy access fuel dock, great dock hands and outstanding shower/head facility. Walked to town (easy) for groceries and a few hardware items. Hit a few of the shops too. Enjoyed the Split Rail micro brewery before grabbing some really good fish & chips (Pickerel of course) at the adjacent restaurant. We will definitely plan a stop here for multiple days on our next trip.

We really enjoyed this secluded marina. It is away from the hustle & bustle of town and a great place to spend the weekend waiting out a pretty nasty storm. Dock hands were outstanding and the ships store was very well stocked. Private shower/head/sink suites and a coin laundry. Very nice restaurant too. We met new friends here who were 5 days into their loop before requiring some boat service. Wonderful people who we look forward to keeping in touch with. They had nothing but high praise for Walt and the Marina's quick response when they required a tow and service. We will definitely stay here on our next trip.

As we headed North on the Hudson leg of our Loop, we made a 2 night reservation at the Marlboro Yacht Club through Dockwa arriving Saturday and departing Monday- and are thankful that we did! Sean the harbor host reached out to us a couple of days in advance with information regarding arrival and our stay. Two members greeted us at the fuel dock and then caught lines at our slip. Within the first hour, no less than 6-8 members stopped by to welcome us, learn about our trip, and invite us to a cookout the club was having that evening. As the cookout was starting, members came to our boat and insisted that we join them.
This club made us feel part of the family from the moment we arrived. Their docks and facilities were outstanding too. Long story short - this was the most welcoming and fun group of people that we had met at any yacht club during our travels. The Commodore and his wife ( John & Rose) were excellent hosts and ensured that we were introduced to everyone. We had such a great evening ! If we were home ported in the area - MYC would absolutely be our #1 choice for membership. Most Highly Recommended! On our next trip, we will definitely be returning … and for a long weekend. Thank You - John, Matt, Darren, Mike, Sean and everyone who made our stay so enjoyable!

What an incredible boatyard/Marina ! We needed to conduct engine service on our Yamaha outboard before entering Canada on the Loop. Called and scheduled service a week in advance and planned to arrive on Thursday with haul out and service on Friday. A power outage at the Erie Canal locks 20 &21 delayed our arrival a day. We called Winter Harbor and kept them abreast of our delayed arrival. When we arrived at 10:30AM Friday, the lift was in the slip and staff guided us in for an immediate haul out. The Technicians and staff were Amazing! Had us take care of and back in the water by 1:30pm. Staff walked us around the beautiful property , facilities, and ships store (which was amazing). The grounds and facilities were immaculate. We have never seen a boatyard this well managed, welcoming, and squared away! Two curtesy cars were a huge benefit with great grocery stores, beverage store, and an Ace Hardware plus a Home Depot within a 15 min drive. Good restaurants just a mile away on the water. the docks were in great shape and their fuel island was self help, open 24/7 and really were the most competitive prices in the region. Dockage rates were among the most reasonable that we have encountered in 2,500 miles of the Great Loop thus far. When we reached our slip - we met several looper friends, and made new ones. Had a great evening grilling and dock tailing in the outstanding pavilion overlooking the Erie Canal. Oh and the ladies in the office were soooo welcoming - they also make great almond brownies and coffee cake too !! We met new friends who hail from within 50 miles of our home in TN and have wintered their boat here since 2016..... after spending a couple of days here - we understand why. If you need any type of maintenance performed, or a heated winter storage - we highly recommend Winter Harbor Marina and Boatyard. Honestly, we hated to leave ! We will be back for sure, and plan an extended stay here.

(Happy Hour at the Piato Greek Kitchen was great).   We will definitely return to Half Moon Bay during our next visit.

We were toward the end of the transient dock and it was very quiet and sheltered from wakes and wind. Enjoyed visiting with other boaters. The docks and facilities are secure with locked gates. NJ Police and Coast Guard docks adjacent. Good prices on slip and fuel. Best stay in Atlantic City. Recommend the Hamburger restaurant in the Nugget- very good and reasonable prices. Fuell dock had easy access out on the end of the T dock and the assistant was great help with lines. We will certainly stay here again.

Arrived Thursday planning a haul-out on Friday to conduct 100 Hr service on outboard, then enjoy Belhaven for the weekend, departing for the Dismal Swamp on Monday. We encountered a need for an additional repair and it required a couple of weeks to get the part in and warranty work completed. During that time, TJ and Rob treated us like family and ensured our stay in Belhaven as an excellent one despite the delay in our travels.

The Marina and Boatyard facilities were excellent. Their courtesy car and golf carts were great assets. A Marina expansion is underway which will greatly increase the marina footprint. It was a short walk to downtown and we enjoyed the walk to the brewery, restaurants, ice cream shop, and shopping. Everyone in town was just as welcoming as the folks at the marina. TJ's also has four VERY nice rental cabins with full kitchens, and a nice porch to relax on in the afternoons. Great for a stay while fishing, or just to get off the boat while it is in the hard.

We could not have asked for a better location to be delayed for a while and will definitely return to Belhaven and TJ's Marina. Thanks for all of your help and for making our stay a Great one !!

(made me wish I had my Skeeter bass boat) We arrived around 13:30 from Labelle and got situated before the bass tournament weigh in. Captain Sam was excellent assistance. We had watched a YouTube interview of him before arriving. We hailed him on 16 as we cleared the Clewiston Lock - he provided clear instructions, met us on the lineal face dock and managed our refueling and dock position assignment. Was not busy at the time so we had a good chat with him. As the tournament boats and other vessels arrived, he single-handedly positioned each one. Amazing for an 80+ "young man". While the Tiki Bar was a bit active on a Saturday night, it was not bad The food there was excellent and the breakfast at the other restaurant was great as well. The Staff were all very helpful. The no longer have a courtesy car BUT gave us a contact (Sugarland Services) who picked us up, shuttled us to Walmart for provisioning, and picked us up at an appointed time. Amanda was wonderful, we highly recommend her services. The shower and head facility was perfectly adequate and not busy. We really liked the laundry - they had commercial machines on the Aaxonpay System. We paid with our phone, and could check status of the machines remotely - wish every marina had this setup. Some larger boats may have had issues exiting if they were deep into the channel. At only 31' LOA, we easily kicked the stern out, and walked the bow around for departure. We will be back, for sure... perhaps with the bas boat next time :-).

The Keen Lock is a bit shorter than previous ones. The Lock Tender was great, gave clear instructions, and provided insight that the water flow would hold us on the Starboard side wall for 50' or so (eastbound). As soon as we entered the lock, the railroad swing bridge closed for railroad traffic - good timing. The Corp Lock and bridge tenders have all been great, makes traveling the OWW a pleasure.

Excellent stop. Finger piers would be a nice addition but we managed a bow-in tie up no problem. The dock was in great shape and the library across the street was handy. Easy walk to a Dollar General Market. Highly recommend dinner at Forrey Grill - food was outstanding, great value, and the staff welcoming. Wish we had an extra day to explore - that will be next time.

As we approached the bridge on 3 May 2024, I hailed a bit early wanting to give plenty of heads-up. The bridge tender called us closer, promptly stopped traffic and instructed us to proceed as clearance was sufficient. She gave clear instructions and was very responsive - much appreciated.

This was our first lock on the OWW eastbound. The lock tender was outstanding, she walked out and gave us a run down of all the locks and bridges ahead. Also reviewed entrance and exit process and gave my wife suggestions for handling the lines - all of which was much appreciated and an excellent start to our Okeechobee crossing.

The Dockmaster and dockhands were outstanding - the best that we have seen in our travels. With their help, backing into the finger dock slip was effortless. Our exit the next morning was just as easy. The restaurant on site was excellent. Very nice bay and inlet , peaceful evening. Ubered to Publix for some provisions which was nice. The private shower/ head facilities and laundry were top notch. We really enjoyed this marina and Venice, will return for a longer stay.

Very nice, well managed marina - we stayed several days to see friends in the Tampa area and wait out the 25 kt wind gusts before heading South. This marina is perfectly located and sheltered from all directions. The floating face dock was perfect and the personnel at this municipal marina were outstanding! Nights were quiet and peaceful. A short bike ride gets you to an Aldi, Walmart, CVS, restaurants, etc. The security was great with nice lighting , a nice 10' fence around the compound. Showers and laundry were convenient. We had several Amazon packages delivered since it was same-day delivery there. - perfect for loopers. One of our absolute favorite stops - we will be back for sure.

Stayed here after our last Gulf crossing run from Crystal River. Quite windy as we arrived but Staff were all excellent help, moving our Ranger Tug to a more suitable fixed dock slip and assisting with finger pier piling ties. Could not be happier with the dock team. The only reason for the 4 stars is the 2 1/2 ft tide made it "interesting" boarding from the fixed finger pier. Great beach access and the Bait House Tackle and Tavern is adjacent to the shower facility and is highly recommended - excellent seafood. One of the Tour Ship Captains snapped our photo as we entered the inlet and posted on the Great Loop Facebook site. He suggested the Bait House for dinner and was dead-on. Great area - we will be back.... especially since floating docks will be added this year !

Very nice stop at this "old Florida" marina, Marina staff were excellent. Stayed two nights on a floating dock and enjoyed the stay very much. Great assistance at fuel island and docking. Golf cart was a huge help, ran out to West Marine and grocery store while there. Laundry near grocery store was nice. Secure head & shower facility as convenient. Snacks and ice were readily available. Great stop, we will be back earlier in the year to spend time swimming with the Manatees. Thanks Pete's Pier - see ya'll next time.

New marina with great floating docks, easy fueling, power and water easily accessible.

The staff were outstanding. Very welcoming and attentive throughout the day to ensure customers are well cared for. Aiden (part time HS student) was very professional, courteous, and quick to help. Very much a fishing town, the charter captains and local fishermen were welcoming and readily assisted transient boats.
We stayed several days after our crossing from Carrabelle awaiting weather window to head south to Crystal River. Steinhatchee rates were very fair - among the best we have encountered... we loved it here.
The upstairs shop was unbeatable - the best we have ever encountered with quality clothing products, a huge fishing tackle section, and adult beverage section.
Wifi was great when processed through our PepWave router. We were able to catchup on some work while here. No laundry yet, but the bathrooms and shower facilities were modern and clean. The showers could have better security/ privacy.

This was one of our very favorite marinas on our travels - we will be back for sure.

Excellent stop - best in Carrabelle. The Staff were great - Joey was top-notch, helping with docking, regularly checking in to ensure that we were squared away. His wife in the office made checkin seamless and welcoming. The upstairs boaters lounge was outstanding - TV area, cards/game area, and pool table all with great views. Laundry was convenient, bathrooms and showers were secure, could use a bit of upgrade, but clean and functional. Location is ideal - a block away from the IGA grocery and ACE Hardware. Also some outstanding restaurants - Fisherman's Wife's seafood platter is unmatched. If you are in the mood for some great fresh seafood to grill/ prepare yourself, be sure and visit Millender & Sons Seafood on the east side of town. Vance M. is very customer focused and will have the freshest local shrimp, flounder, triple tail, etc in town. The smoked mullet dip is amazing too - wish we had grabbed an extra tub.

The staff at the Moorings fuel island were excellent as well, and Kathy M. in the office provided great customer service at checkout. We will always stay at the Moorings when passing through Carrabelle.
