Reviews Summary
The reviews for Buzzard Rock highlight a generally positive experience for boaters, despite some limitations due to seasonal closures. Many reviewers appreciated the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, noting the helpfulness of local boaters. The facilities are described as nice, with solid docks, a courtesy car for provisioning, and good amenities like coin laundry. However, several reviews mention that the restaurant and bar were closed for the season, which was disappointing for some visitors. Slip rates are considered reasonable, and the location is described as a safe harbor. Overall, Buzzard Rock is recommended as a good stop, especially for those traveling during the off-season, but it's advised to check on seasonal operations before arrival.

We were thankful to get in to Buzzard Rock since Green Turtle Bay did not have availability. It was quite basic, but adequate for us. Depending on your travel dates, make sure to ask if they are operating under in-season operations or not. Turns out that despite the hundreds of Loopers on the inland rivers in October, their restaurant was closed (weekend included).

Picked up a customer boat here, restaurant closed for the season, but otherwise very helpful to a departing boat! :) These folks are always recommended.

Nice stop, $1.25/ft. Was surprised by the traffic... not boats but golf carts down the pier. Very friendly folks on the end pier. Nice place to eat and bands in season. AT&T was good

Nice facilities. Courtesy car. Coin Laundry. Bergman marine mechanic on site was able to order turbo. Fuel dock was closed 10/20/22 and water will be turned off 10/26/22. The restaurant and bar was closed but looks like a really nice place for summer season.

Hidden treasure and worth a stop. Reasonable slip rates and solid docks to tie up to for the night. Very friendly staff and local boaters made you feel welcome. Courtesy car for provisioning and dinner out as restaurant was closed for the season. Would definitely recommend when looking for a safe harbour .

Excellent stop with friendly staff and fellow boaters. Good courtesy car to run to Walmart etc. The pool is quite a hike from the docks. The docks are in excellent shape.

Marked entry. Plenty of water at transient lay along dock. Good amperage with little voltage drop at dock pedestals. Pump outs are available at fuel dock only during early mornings since the actual pump is under the restaurant. Restaurant and lounge on site. Good pricing.
