We stopped here because the rain from a frontal passage was unrelenting. The holding is good, it is a rocky bottom but we had no problem getting the anchor to bite. It's extremely calm and we even had some winds blow through because of the frontal passage. Slight current. We saw no less than 10 feet coming in. Great stop on the Mohawk River.

We spent the night here, no problems. The wall is a cluster. It's old wood railroad tie type looking things stacked vertically. The difficulty is they are not completely all there. So there are some areas of the wall better than others. It's difficult to tie up, but there is a long railing that we simply slipped our lines back to the boat around the railing posts.
We saw people walking around, families, people going fishing, riding bicycles, having romantic handholding walks with each other, no homeless people. There did not appear to be any element of crime around. So if there was a problem, it's been cleaned up. At night the wall is well lit, providing good visibility if you wanted to go out for a walk at night.
We did not walk across the street to check out the facilities at the navigation center so I can't comment on that.
There were only two power posts and it looks to be both of them were only 50 amp hook ups. We do not have a converter from 50 to 30 so we did not hook up. Also, I did not see any water hook up.
    Good stop.
