We anchored out at the entrance to the little inlet. It was about 10' with good mud for holding. Great sunsets.

It is difficult to sail through this entrance; use power.
I use this anchorage regularly and rarely see more than one other boat here. It is a good departure spot for a slow boat run down the Bay to Solomons, the Little Choptank or the Potomac and an excellent storm anchorage.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Keep Green #1 30-40 yards to port, then aim for Green #3 just to port to go between Green #3 and Red #4 that are almost vertically aligned. I came in at mid tide and lowest depth by Red #4 was 5'11" and that was very briefly. Inside found 10-11' water with good holding and barely any boat traffic. We had 6 boats rafted together and had no issues at all. Love the spot.

Room for several boats with excellent protection. Very attractive creek with scattered relatively modest homes. Nearby county landing for pets, etc.. Few local boats. Unable to accurately assess holding.
