Had always thought about trying Port 32 but was put off given it's location distant from the ICW. Explored the St. John's River this year and decided to stop at Pier 32 Ortega for several days. Great marina! Well kept and secure in a good neighborhood plus a Publix is in walking distance.

Basic marina improved by rustic ambiance, a good location, and, great views(better than anchoring? - No, but we have a dog and prolonged rain was forecast). Currents can be significant. Docks as noted are seemingly homemade but adequate. The electrical system has been upgraded since we first came here a few years ago with new outlets. The local restaurant Marker 107 is average in quality and overpriced but the principal of location/location/location was clearly in effect.

Left off 1 star only because it is not a resort place. It is a plain marina in the middle of nowhere, and it is great just as it is, in our opinion. But we are posting this review to thank the associated gas station/convenience store grill for THE BEST fried chicken we have ever had. Ever.

Jeremy Creek has recently been dredged. No depths below 11.5 ft at 3 feet above low tide. Delightful, small, well run marina. The WiFi signal was weak. Unable to evaluate the town due pouring rain.
The Deer Head Oak (approx 1000 yrs old) was impressive. The fish market was close by and had great shrimp.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Dock staff helpful. Dock as usual was a very long walk (2/3rds down the Mega dock). WiFi not accessable. Office staff would not help with this. We were told to call the service provider. This is apparently an ongoing issue. Will try not to return.

We had a very nice 3 day stay here in this quiet relaxed marina. Marina staff wonderful. Courtesy car made provisioning easy. The road from marina to the Sandfly district had no sidewalk or shoulder and quite a few fast moving vehicles, but the Isle of Hope historic district of homes is a beautiful quiet place to walk, steps from the marina. We plan to return to this marina on future ICW passages through Georgia's stunning marshlands.

We love this marina...no fancy resort vibe here, which is exactly what we like...clean, well run, friendly, and peaceful. Jovan is marina staff extraordinaire and inspiring ambassador for the special beauty of this island and its wildlife. We will be back!

Not a fancy gated resort, but wonderful in it's own beach town way ..small, clean, very nice floating docks, pump out that worked great, easy walk to Surf City Pier, restaurants, grocery, beach concessions, and miles of beautiful Atlantic beach.
Best of all is Dee, the Dockmaster. Easy to contact on VHF, gave clear directions for approach, professional docking assistance, and friendly welcome to the town.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer
