Very cordial proprietor who needed to be called on the phone to purchase fuel. Cheapest fuel in the area with diesel and gasoline available. He offered to let us leave our boat at the dock and take us to a restaurant in town. We chose to cruise on but appreciated the offer. The water leading to the fuel dock was wide and deep enough to turn my 53' boat with 4.5' draft with ease.

Filled up with diesel for 80 cents cheaper than Charleston prices. Lacy was incredibly helpful and friendly. It was the first time we had filled our new boat and she kept the pressure on low on the hose so we could learn our fueling system. The bathroom was tidy and the service was excellent.

What a great stop! Yes it's rustic. This is a snug creek that's easy in and out. Nice floating docks. Free laundry. Very minimal bathroom. Lovely town and we enjoyed an absolutely terrific dinner at TW Graham.

If you're looking for a "no frills" marina with that "low country" feel, this is your place. A little bit of a current but doable. Fresh fish is available just down the street at the fish market which has fresh catch of the day and minimal other sundries. A quick walk will get you to T.W. Graham & Co Seafood restaurant which again, is low key. We gave it a 3 out of 5 stars. The marina staff are friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back but with so many other locations to choose from, it might be a while.

A gem of a place if you enjoy rustic, peaceful and quaint and sharing the dock with the shrimpers. Lacy and Donny who run Leland oil were the best and super helpful. Very good fuel price, warm clean shower and a great little town. A hidden gem. I'll be back!

It was an inexpensive and sheltered stop with good fuel prices (although we did not get fuel there; we merely asked). Lacy, the dockmaster, was friendly and helpful. She drew us a little map of some points of interest in town: the stained glass windows at the church, the 1000+ year old oak, the seafood restaurant. (The restaurant was closed that Saturday afternoon.) It was a pleasant town to walk in, with tree-lined streets and lots of flowering shrubs. These points are what earns the three stars.
The two lost stars are related to the condition of the facilities. Simply said, they needed work. The fuel shed looked ready to fall into the river. There was a single restroom with a shower stall that was in horrible condition and dirty. There was no toilet paper on the second day of our stay. There was no one on duty when we departed at 9 AM on Sunday morning.
In summary, if you're looking for an inexpensive, sheltered stop with lower than average priced fuel and you have everything you need on board, this is a good option. But if you need a restroom, groceries, or anything other than a place to tie up with power and water, you should probably keep going.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

What a nice little step back in time. Stopped for the night, docks were floating with good solid construction. Lacy the dockmaster was great. We loved walking to the 1000+ year old oak tree, that was worth the stop alone. The free laundry another plus. The bathrooms could use a cleaning, but don’t let that deter you from stopping. Also stopped by the shrimp docks and purchased some fresh shrimp and crab dip, wow so good. Definitely a great overnight on the ICW.

Great spot, cannot overstate it. If you like to step back in time to an old fishing village that has a very large shrimp fleet for the size of harbor that it is, pretty impressive. Quaint little town but don't come here to do a lot of shopping. Lacey the dock master is incredibly helpful and friendly, Chanler is a marine electrician who is in and around the area, very helpful with our AC problems, got us up and running so we could sleep, thank you! Will be back so the story goes.

Just a couple minutes up Jeremy Creek is a competitively priced fuel dock. Newer floating face dock in great shape to starboard side as you are approaching. Hang fenders just above waterline and use your own dock lines. They do allow overnights and have utilities, 50 & 30 amp. Bathrooms with showers. No pumpout. Small, peaceful village. Walk to seafood market that sells local boat catch as well as import and walk to T W Graham & Co restaurant. Super friendly dockhands.
One word of caution, since this is the only dock around, it can fill up on weekends with center console fishing boats so call ahead for space on the dock.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We pulled in for a quick visit after anchoring the previous night in Five Fathom Creek. Payed $10 for a brief visit which is only fair. Quaint little town that will remind you of the town in “To Kill a Mockingbird.” Great hospitality.

Easy run up Jeremy Creek with about 5.5 ft at low tide. Easy docking with a friendly staff. This is a great stop with fresh shrimp and a 1000 year tree. Lots of places to take a dog for a long walk. There are loose dogs running around the marina.

Leland Oil Company is what it is...which is a safe place to tie your boat overnight. The main premise of this marina is for a huge fleet of shrimp and fishing boats; however, there is about 200 feet of transient dockage.
We arrived late (about 8PM). Although we'd been assured twice that there was "plenty" of space on the transient dock, we arrived at a full dock. Thankfully, the other boat owners were extremely kind and moved their boats closer together to accommodate ours. It was a little bit of a frustrating situation though because we had called ahead and really didn't have a backup plan.
If you are coming from the South on the ICW there aren't a lot of marinas close by. We would definitely stay there again if we needed to, but we would try to arrive earlier as reservations don't seem to mean anything.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Ideal stop between Charleston and Georgetown. Friendly, accommodating, small. Facilities simple but clean. The only well protected ( will get small E wind driven waves) stop on the Winyah Bay - Chas ICW segment. I had no issues with 50A power.

Jeremy Creek has recently been dredged. No depths below 11.5 ft at 3 feet above low tide. Delightful, small, well run marina. The WiFi signal was weak. Unable to evaluate the town due pouring rain.
The Deer Head Oak (approx 1000 yrs old) was impressive. The fish market was close by and had great shrimp.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Nice spot. Very friendly and helpful on the phone. Arrived late and unfortunately, although they had 50 amp power plugs, it was not 2 phase so could not run AC (and it was very hot and humid). Also could not get 2 - 30's to work because they were on the same circuit. If you have extra long 30 amp cords you can make it work. Power pedestals are over 50 feet away from each other.

Great little marina right off ICW. It only has one long floating dock which is in good condition. The dockmaster, Pascal, is very friendly and helpful. Just after docking we were greeted by a dolphin who came right up to my wife on the swim platform! McClellanville is a quaint little shrimping village full of old oak trees streaming with spanish moss. We had a delicious dinner at TW Graham’s and great sandwiches at Boats and Hoagies. The shrimp dip from the fish market is wonderful.
Tri County Link runs a shuttle from the town hall every 2-3 hrs to Mt Pleasant K Mart for $5.50 RT.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

We ducked in here when caught in a thunder storm. Pascal, the dock master braved the rain to help us with docking. The marina personnel are super friendly, they even organized a car for us to get groceries. The little village is cute. The trees are phenomenal. We think James Cameron must have seen these trees when he created the trees in Avatar. The fish market has excellent crab and shrimp dips. The shrimpers are right here in the marina.
Careful: It's shallow at the entrance, we made it at +2.9 tide in and out with little water to spare.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Lovely town, great seafood market a very short walk from the marina. The owners are really the best and the dockmaster is on top of things.Only minus is Wifi signal is weak.
If going to Leland Oil: 1. First read the ACOE Nav Alert regarding entrance channel to Jeremy Creek. 2. Don't forget to see the 1000 year old Live Oak, and 3. Have a meal at T.W. Graham, a 5-10 minute walk.View location on the Waterway Guide Explorer

Strayed too close to the docks on the way in and had to power a trench in the bottom until we cleared the shallow spot. Don't cheat toward land - center up between the land and the marshy areas. The guy here was very, very nice and we enjoyed walking around the area. It's a lovely old spot with an ancient tree and a scale model of the solar system (for contrast, I guess). TW Graham & Co is a nice walk away, provides a delicious fish dinner, gives great service, and has a special tartar that knocked my socks off.
