Very peaceful and scenic anchorage. Off-channel, no wakes felt 100 yards up the cutoff. Depth 9-10' everywhere we saw, including close to shore. Good holding in mud. Somewhat narrow, so we used a stern anchor. Fair cell reception on T-Mobile. Shore access limited.

Good anchor hold. Had 2 43-44 ft cruiser yachts rafted side by side and anchored opposite each other for hold. Had 8 ft depth even 15 ft off shore. Felt some river traffic 150 ft in but we could have gone back further as depth was good. Poor access to shore for pets but still doable.

Turn off LDB at to enter straight into cutoff at mid creek for 9 feet at the bar and then 10 feet or more moving up the channel. Anchor as far in as you want but we anchored 100 yards off the waterway in 10 feet of water with a short scope due to narrow channel. There is no current to hold you in line with the channel so you will wander a bit. Consider a stern anchor to hold you mid channel. Some boat traffic but not bad. Good holding in mud and good protection from wind, wake, and waves. Cell reception is there but barely adequate. There is no local shore access.

Charts didn't show the good 10 foot depths into this creek. Deployed a stern anchor to prevent swinging. A log or deadhead was located in the center of the creek about 200 feet from entrance. Marked the log with a float, but may not stay in the long term. Walked the dog across the west side of river on a soft sand riverbank.
