Review for Bay Spring Visitors Center

LOA: 32'
Draft: 4.0'Overall Rating:5Holding:5Wind Protection:4Current Flow:5Wake Protection:5Scenic Beauty:3Ease of Shopping:2Shore Access:5Pet Friendly:4Cell Service:4Bay is very good size, anchored with 2 30+ foot boats in this bay, more room in other adjacent bays. Entry is above lock and depth 10 feet plus entire route in. Anchored near DNR pier in 8-10 feet of water and excellent holding in mud and went ashore to view the visitor center which was very nice. One downside is that the DNR pier/Boathouse is lit up like an airport with BIG floods lights at night. Cell phone coverage was adequate for AT&T.
