Description: Anchor in the pool of water across from the Utica Harbor Lock entrance, just east of the North-South Arterial Bridge E-44B. Stay clear of the two large dolphins that are used by Canal Corporation boats to tie up.

Great anchorage. We got here after E-20 had closed, looked at the wall and decided to drop hook. 11 to 12 foot in basin, no current, no boat traffic.

We did not anchor here but used the Lock wall on the south bank at the West entrance to the closed Lock. There is room for two boats however one portion of the wall is slightly curved. Walmart 2miles away. NY walking/Bike trail is 100 yards away.
