This turned out to be an ideal anchorage. We originally wanted to go to the marina but it was full and it turned out in our favor. The anchorage area provides a good buffer from the noise of the marina and adjacent park. The lake is about a half a mile in diameter, mostly deeper than you'd like to anchor but the anchorage way point area is 10' to 15' depths with good holding. The marina allows those anchoring to come in to their dinghy dock and use their showers with no fee.
